Summer at Friends offers a variety of educational and recreational day camps for boys and girls ages 4 through 13. Led by energetic and enthusiastic staff who love working with kids, campers form friendships and discover the joy of learning new skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Affordable packages

Parents who work outside of the home appreciate our Extended Day packages that combine Camp and Extended Day for one low fee.

No lunches to pack!

All full-day camps include lunch, beverage and snack.

Safe. Supervised. Super-fun!

Summer at Friends programs are certified by the State of Maryland for compliance with Youth Camp Safety Regulations. Our Registered Nurse is on campus during camp hours, and daily swimming instruction and recreational swim are led by certified Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards. Our team of experienced teachers and counselors guides children through a busy day that includes plenty of water breaks, sunscreen checks and camp spirit!

Flexible Scheduling

Enrollment in all Traditional Day Camps is flexible. Register for just the number of weeks you need – the choice is yours! (Technology and Drama Camps are offered in sessions only.)
 
Day Camp Traditional Day Camps flexible enrollment may be for one to eight weeks, and the weeks need not be consecutive. 
Dance/Drama Imagination Alive! and Take Two are co-ed Creative Arts camps.
Technology Our popular Technology programs engage campers in hands-on activities using a variety of software/ hardware. Campers highlight their projects and newly acquired skills during Tech Showcases at the close of each session.
All Stars This “extra” All-Star week of camp (Augst 7 - 11) features the best activities from our traditional camp season plus exciting surprises.
For Teenagers! Camps For Teenagers! include Babysitter Training and our Counselor-in-Training program.

In accordance with the Quaker philosophy of Friends School, our program strives to instill feelings of self-worth and confidence in every camper and to encourage respect, cooperation and consideration of others.  We celebrate diversity and believe in the unique worth of each individual. All programs are open to non-Friends School students.
