About Summer at Friends

2021 Camp Information

The Camp Office is open year-round. To contact us, please email summercamp@friendsbalt.org or call 410-649-3218.

We are excited to return to campus for Summer 2021!  Summer at Friends is offering on-campus programs and limited Virtual Summer programs. On-campus programs will look different from previous summers, but we think campers and families will love the options! You can expect intentionally smaller group sizes, modified schedules and activities, and fewer program offerings to allow for physical distancing and group cohorting. Most noticeably, registration for our programs will not open until mid-February to allow everyone to make the best decision based on the most current information. Summer 2021 will have a different look, but campers can still look forward to a summer of fun!

With our limited capacity this summer, we anticipate many programs will sell-out. Register early to guarantee your child’s space!

Safe. Supervised. Super-fun!

Summer at Friends programs are certified by the State of Maryland for compliance with Youth Camp Safety Regulations. Our Registered Nurse is on campus during camp hours, and certified Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards lead daily swimming instruction and recreational swim. Our team of experienced teachers and counselors guides children through a busy day that includes plenty of water breaks, sunscreen checks and camp spirit.

Experience the Quaker Dimension

In accordance with the Quaker philosophy of Friends School, our program strives to instill feelings of self-worth and confidence in every camper and to encourage respect, cooperation and consideration of others.  We celebrate diversity and believe in the unique worth of each individual. All programs are open to non-Friends School students.
